Baby yoga complements baby massage very well as it continues to support your baby's brain development. It is great for aiding co-ordination and balance, as well as helping develop sensory and motor skills. Classes are fun and lively, with lots of singing and interaction. It's also a fantastic way to tire your little one out and get them to sleep! Classes include a few gentle stretches for Mum, as well as time to catch up with others over a cup of tea.
Kati at Bonding with Baby offers Baby Yoga and Baby Massage Classes on the following dates in Wooton
Friday 22nd June for six weeks each.

The Mind
Mercury continues its progress through Aries in the early part of May entering Taurus on the 9th. Whilst it occupies Aries we will be encouraged to look at areas of our lives needing a fresh start. We may be inspired to express ourselves in new ways, perhaps favouring independent action and initiative rather than co-operation or dependence on others. Once Mercury enters Taurus on the 9th we may find that the pace of life slows and we are be able to approach things in a more grounded and practical way. ‘One step at a time’ is a Taurus motto. Mercury enters Gemini, the sign it rules, on 24th which will add a sparkle to our minds. We may take more of an interest in the world around us and have a lot more to say for ourselves!
The Heart
Venus continues her transit of Gemini this month; in fact it will not leave the sign of the twins until the early part of August. We can learn a lot about relationships and love while Venus is in Gemini. To do this we will obviously need share and let others know how we feel. There is a light and spontaneous quality to Gemini which means even the deepest and meaningful exchanges should carry no fears. Venus is retrograde from 15th May to 27th June 2012. During this period we have the opportunity to review our relationships and gain a greater understanding of what they mean for us. The New Moon in Gemini on the 20th may mark a time of positive new beginnings where our relationships are concerned, perhaps a new love
Energy
Mars continues its journey through Virgo this month. This means that through May we can continue to work with and on our skills. Since November of last year the presence of Mars in Virgo has encouraged us to fine hone our skills and generally keep busy! We may have made adjustments or considered making them where our work and routines are concerned. Some of us may have looked at different lines of work or adapting so that we can apply new skills. We have until early July to complete the processes. The alignment of Mars and Pluto around the 16th may be just the tonic we need. It adds tremendous power and strength to our efforts, and even a car that has been sat in the garage for years may start with very little persuasion; time to get going!
Feelings
The Moon is full in Scorpio on the 6th. This Lunar cycle can bring strong feelings to the surface. We can use this time for emotional ‘cleansing’. In other words we can let go of any resentments or blame that we might be harbouring and move on. The Scorpio quality of forgiveness may help us to overcome difficulties and make a fresh start. The Scorpio Moon allows us to really mean what we say, feel and do. The New Moon in Gemini on the 20th will set the scene for a month when there will be plenty to think and talk about. This lunar phase can help us to understand our feelings, but perhaps more importantly it allows us to communicate them. The qualities of Gemini can add lightness to the expression of feelings, making it easier to say even difficult things.

Mercury starts the month in retrograde motion in Pisces turning direct on the 4th. We can use the early days of April to work on our ideas and how we can manifest them.. Mercury re-enters Aries on the 16th which is the cue to start our projects and initiate our plans. Mercury conjuncts Uranus in Aries on the 22nd and this can be a very exciting time. The qualities of Uranus allow us to see the whole picture making decisions a whole lot easier. That said, in combination these two planets can inspire rash and spontaneous actions. We should therefore pause and reflect before we jump to any conclusion or start something which we may later regret. Challenging aspects on the 25th suggest we avoid putting ourselves under pressure if we want an easy time.
Venus enters Gemini on the 3rd and this could correspond with us having a renewed interest in communicating with others. Gemini is a placement for Venus which can bring out flirtatiousness and a general desire to share our heart with others. There are some difficult aspects where the heart is concerned around the 6th & 7th. We may see the half empty glass where relationships are concerned. Venus makes an alignment with Uranus on the 9th so we can expect the unexpected in love! This is the time to be courageous and spontaneous especially if we have been taking people and relationships for granted. If we have felt restricted we will have very little tolerance for the situation and may now wish to make a break for freedom.
Mars continues its journey through Virgo this month. Virgo is the sign that governs work, service, health and healing. Mars is retrograde until the 14th so the first half of the month we may do well to rework our plans and go over our intended projects making adjustments where necessary. From the 14th is should be easier to move forward with our enterprises. Virgo is the sign of perfectionism, so with this placement of Mars we have a great opportunity to make sure that whatever we do, we do it right! The earth quality of Virgo also encourages us to keep our feet on the ground, be present and focus on what we are doing. Aspects around the 24th should be invigorating and give us the opportunity to shine at whatever we do.
The Full Moon on the 6th is in the romantic sign of Libra. Time to share and enjoy the relationships that nourish and nurture us. Give and take is essential in any healthy relationship and we all benefit from this natural balance. If we have been feeling isolated or unappreciated we may use this lunar phase to open up and connect with others. Family responsibilities will be particularly important for us at this time. The Taurus New Moon occurring on the 21st is a lunar phase that relates to the material world, building and construction. This can be an important time for us if we have projects to begin, and it is the more physical side of what we do that benefits from this New Moon; a good time therefore for all kinds of bodywork, nurturing and nourishing.

Last night I hosted my second FHT meeting, and although standing up in front of a crowd is well out of my comfort zone, I really enjoyed the evening. Meeting many body work therapists as the subject was Myofascial Release. Cathy Alderson of gave a very informative talk and demonstration on the subject, showing the classic 'Fuzz Speach" you tube clip, watching myofascial release being done is likened to watching paint dry, but feeling its affects are second to none.
To top a lovely evening off Cathy gave away two free places on her one day course for the following day so well done to the lucky two who could go on and learn the techniques.
Cathy runs courses for Gateway Workshops and you can read more about her here
